    Medskin Acyclovir and other dermal drugs should not be used concomitantly on the same affected area of skin.

    Temporary feeling of hot and pains associated with mild erythema at the applied area sometimes occurs.

  • Materiality

    Acyclovir is similar to nucleoside and acts to inhibit DNA synthesis and selective multiplication of Herpes virus, so it does not influence the metabolism of normal cells.
    Acyclovir gives the strongest effect on Herpes simplex virus type 1 (HSV-1) and decreases slowly on Herpes simplex virus type 2 (HSV-2) and Varicella zoster virus (VZV), Cytomegalovirus (CMV).

    Treatment of dermal Herpes simplex, including labial and genital Herpes simplex.

    Hypersensitivity to any components of the drug.

  • DOSAGE AND HOW TO USE

    Applying a thin layer to the affected site every 4 hours daily (5 to 6 times/ day) for 5 to 7 days. The treatment should be applied right after the onset of symptoms.
